This book gives a great understanding of how undiagnosed mental illness can affect family life - it shows how we can easily put on one side, or ignore, behaviour of loved ones, not realising that mental health problems can happen to anyone at any time.

I think it's a brilliant book giving others an insight into the non-typical world others are trapped in. As well as having bought the ebook I look forward to purchasing this when it is in print form. The extracts are good but reading it as a whole is an experience. I do hope there will be more books as i found this a joy to read and captivating rather than making you fall asleep as some books can.
Thank you again, for writing such a well written and entertaining book and giving others an insight and understanding into mental health. Your family must be proud of you for over coming such hurdles!

I’ve just finished reading “The Fire in Your Eyes”. I was absolutely gripped by it! What a story!!! Can't wait for the sequel - I want to know what happens to Luci and her children and how the family continue to support her.
I felt the highs and lows of her existence and was longing to find out the secret of her (and Ben's) past.
